The Truth About Kenya Moore’s Marriage Certificate

On Sunday’s night’s episode of The Real Housewives of Atlanta Season 12 Reunion Kenya Moore shocked RHOA fans by revealing what appeared to be a legal marriage certificate confirming the marriage between her and Marc Daly.

But even after revealing the illusive document, some fans still believe that Kenya Moore is lying about being legally married.

Here’s a close-up of one of the documents that Kenya showed. It is a marriage certificate that shows the type of wedding (civil), the bride and grooms names, and biographical information about the couple – like their birthdays, previous spouse’s names, etc.

If you’re a sleuth, like myself, and want to compare Kenya Moore’s marriage certificate to a real one, check out another St Lucian marriage certificate below. It appears to be the same format. However, Bravo has cropped out the top, bottom, and right side of Kenya’s document.

The second document Kenya showed off was a certified marriage record. This is what the clerk provides when you request a copy of the marriage record.

The date on the seal on the bottom is the date the request for the certified copy was fulfilled. That is why it says August 2, 2019 instead of June 10, 2017 which was their actual wedding date.

Here is an example of an authentic St. Lucian marriage record that you can use to compare to Kenya’s. This record is actually for a marriage that took place in the 1800s, but you can see the seal at the bottom is dated 2014 (the date of the request.)

It appears that either Kenya Moore’s marriage certificate is authentic OR she went through a great deal to make sure any “fake” documents she presented actually look like the real thing. You be the judge!

Exactly… It would take a confident person to make a YouTube video, admitting that their so-called hunches were wrong in regards to the validity of Kenya’s marriage. Just saying…

I honestly don’t care either way, but I am curious about the way “license” is spelled “licence” on her marriage certificate.

If you get married outside the United States, you still need to submit your certificate for a license in the United State for the marriage to be valid.

What kind of foolishness is this? Why would she go through ‘great lengths’ to obtain a real government issued document. You bloggers are something else. If this was you, you would be pissed if someone tried to say your relationship was fake.

I think whoever the writer of this blog is should honestly get a life and leave Kenya alone. Go and sort your life and marriage out and leave hers alone.
