Alright y’all so yesterday, Dreka Gates, the wife of rapper Kevin Gates posted a picture of her and her husband on a private jet where she was treating him to a foot massage.
Adrienne Bailon Houghton got called out on Media Takeout today after a lot of chitter chatter online claiming that she did a whole house tour of a house that she doesn’t even own.
Adrienne has a YouTube channel called “All Things Adrienne” where she opens up about her life and her home and things that her fans are interested in. After doing tour of her home in Bel Air (which is beautiful) Adrienne posted another house tour a few weeks later of her beach house in Malibu.
That house was beautiful as well. But what got people talking was the fact that the same beach house that she toured was also listed for rent on Air BnB! So it looked like Adrienne was trying to pull a fast one like celebrities used to do on MTV Cribs back in the day, and give a tour of a beautiful beach house that she didn’t even own.
Personally, I wasn’t surprised that the beach house was on Air BnB because the link to the Air BnB listing was actually in the description box of the video. Because I’m also a YouTube content creator I always read the description box of the videos I watch on YouTube, so I saw it there when she first posted the video.
And in the video she actually mentions that her husband built a studio in the house so you can rent it to use the studio.
So, of course, Adrienne had to clap back at people who claimed that she was fronting like she owned the house when she really doesn’t. When someone posted the MTO article in her Instagram comments she responded:
The story about Adrienne lying wasn’t entirely made up though. Yes, she was honest about it being her house that she rents out on Air BnB. But she left her own review on the house, as if she was a guest there and not the owner. Which is kinda like lying to me…
She posted a review saying:
Of course you’ve stayed there multiple times if you own it! That’s the whole point of owning a house. And I think it’s kind of deceptive to leave a review as a guest of a house that you actually own. But that’s just my opinion.
Leave a comment and let me know what you think!
The hosts of The Real Daytime talk show, Tamera Mowry-Housley, Jeannie Mai, Loni Love and Adrienne Bailon Houghton won a Daytime Emmy Award tonight for Outstanding Entertainment Talk Show Hosts!
This is the ladies journey to the Emmy Awards, including behind the scenes footage of them preparing for the Emmy Awards, their big moment on stage, and their backstage reactions.
Talk show host and singer Adrienne Bailon Houghton revealed on The Real that she and husband Israel Houghton will be trying to have a baby in 2018!
The hosts were each taking turns sharing their New Year’s Resolutions and she breathlessly said hers was “to start a family”. She actually looked a little surprised and relieved once she said it, kinda like like it may have been the first time she’s said it out loud.
I’m so happy for her! This would be her first child and Israel Houghton’s fifth.
Check out this video from Daytime Tea Time for more on Adrienne & Israel Houghton’s baby plans!
For those of you who like to keep up with Adrienne Bailon and Israel Houghton, Bossip is reporting that Israel Houghton just narrowly escaped a foreclosure on the home he owned with his previous wife Meleasa. Bossip reports,
Earlier this year, Deutsche Bank sued Houghton and ex Meleasa to foreclose their one-time family home last week in Harris County, Tx. Court, contending that the father of five hadn’t paid the mortgage in several months. In total, the bank said Houghton owed $89,111.54 from 11 times he was supposed to pay but failed to, according to court papers. In order for Houghton to fix the foreclosure, he’d have to cough up the total amount he owes on the mortgage: $608,654.17, according to court documents obtained by BOSSIP. The exes took out the home loan in 2006, and agreed an adjustable interest rate mortgage with initial monthly payments of $4,687, court documents state.
HOWEVER, Israel Houghton has found a buyer for his mansion, and the home’s proposed sale price will absolve his nearly $90,000 debt on the place, according to public records. Late last month, the bank filed paperwork to “nonsuit” the Houghton’s – which made them no longer responsible in the suit or for the mortgage debt. The home’s pending sale likely means that the bank will get its money and Israel and Meleasa can simply walk away from the home.
Sidenote: How come when you Google Meleasa Houghton this picture shows up?
Apparently Rob has no problem throwing his weight around, according to Blac Chyna. She claims he has physically abused her on at least one occasion, leaving her hardly able to walk.
So that “prank” he pulled slapping Adrienne Bailon was clearly indicative of his personality and what he thinks is OK.
In this excerpt from Monique and her husband Sidney’s periscope podcast they discuss Adrienne Bailon’s comments made on the The Real talk show. They say although she is not on Monique’s level right now, one day she may be.
And they also discuss Gabourey Sidibe not being provided hair and makeup assistance when doing promotions for Precious.
They feel Lee Daniels should have automatically looked out for the star of his movie and not had her out doing press looking like Precious, for real. They also discuss Lee Daniels originally making Gabourey Sidibe fly coach (despite her size at the time.) And how he didn’t upgrade Gabourey’s ticket until Monique asked him to.
Monique is saying all that to say, she cares about the future generation of actresses of color, including Adrienne Bailon, and she wants them to be treated fairly even though she was not.
Adrienne took this time to publicly apologize to Naturi Naughton for any hurt she may have caused her back in the day. She mentioned that she previously apologized publicly, but it seems she also wanted the world to know that she is indeed sorry. They were both teens at the time of their rift, and the adults around them seemed to have a lot to do with the group’s demise.
Monique has finally responded to comments made by Adrienne Bailon on “The Real” talk show. Adrienne previously said that “I have an issue with people thinking that everytime someone is loud or boisterous or saying something negative, that that’s keeping it real.
Why does it always have to be that just because you’re loud and all over the place and making a lot of noise, that that’s the truth and that’s real.
Why can’t keeping it real be classy? Why can’t keeping it real be “let me hold my peace and move on”?
“I think you can have a disagreement and you can live in your truth, but at the same time know your truth respectfully and respect others.
And if you want someone to respect you, you should also be respectful of them.”
Here’s what Monique said on Twitter:
Tamar must be in a better mood because she has no problem talking about statements made by The Real co-hosts about her being fired.
This was all jokes and all in fun though. But I don’t think she was joking when she clapped back at blogger Fameolous for accusing her of lying on TD Jakes.
Some people thought he was being messy when he said The Real ratings were struggling and asked her if she would return to The Real. I thought it was a legitimate question, but hey!
