Chile….the Internet streets are talking and this is what they told me about Freddy Harteis allegedly cheating on Jeannie Mai with a woman they both knew!
Jeannie Mai opens up about her husband getting another woman pregnant while they are still married.
As you guys know, The Real talk show has returned for a new season. And some of the hosts seem to be starting the season off with a new attitude!
Hosts Jeannie Mai and Tamera Mowry appeared to get into it today after Jeannie disagreed with Tamera’s opinion on Bert and Ernie.
Tamar Braxton made an epic appearance on the Wendy Williams show today! I’m calling this appearance epic for two reasons…
Congratulations to Loni Love who has signed a deal with Warner Bros. Television to develop a scripted comedy series based on her “larger-than-life” persona as a thriving single woman.
Loni Love confirmed the news that she is getting her own comedy television series and said:
I am thrilled to be developing a comedy with Warner Bros. as I continue to co-host The Real. My life’s work is all about entertaining, inspiring and helping people become the best they can be.
And she also confirmed the news on her Instagram where she reposted the headline:
I’m sure her show is going to be very entertaining, especially if it shows her dating life, which she sometimes jokes about on The Real.
Since the show is autobiographical, I’m sure it will include some of Loni’s background…
Loni Love is a self-made woman who grew up in Detroit’s Brewster-Douglas Housing Project. She received her Bachelor’s in Electrical Engineering from Prairie View A&M and worked as an engineer before kicking off her standup comedy career.
Her recent film credits include Mother’s Day and Paul Blart: Mall Cop 2.
So, Congratulations to Loni Love on her new show!

If you recall, Wendy Williams spoke on R. Kelly and the sex cult allegations against him twice in the past few months. And it has just been revealed that her first comments – when she showed sympathy for R. Kelly and actually broke down in tears crying about R. Kelly – almost got her show cancelled! Advertisers threatened to pull their ads from her show. And in show business, if you don’t have advertisers – you don’t have a show.
So the first time Wendy spoke on the R. Kelly allegations was just days after anti-sexual harassment initiative Time’s Up released a statement calling for radio stations and streaming services to ‘mute R.Kelly.’ That’s when Wendy showed sympathy for R. Kelly while sharing her story about meeting him.
She said “I’m not going to even belabor the point, I know things about R. Kelly that I will take to my grave — unless he tells them.”
Wendy said that when she met privately with R. Kelly no question was off limits and that he had answered everything she asked him, but she had promised him not to reveal the things he said.
But Wendy did to reveal to some, and remind others, that R. Kelly is illiterate, something that R. Kelly has confessed to in numerous interviews in the past.
She said “he can’t read, he can’t write and he can’t add, I won’t tell you about how he maneuvers through the world. I can’t understand not knowing how to read, write, or add and I don’t understand parents who unleash their kids—that’s it,’ she said, and cut herself off before bursting into tears.
It sounded like Wendy blamed the parents for their children ending up being held captive by R. Kelly and that was a big red flag for advertisers, especially in light of the current Time’s Up movement. You can’t blame victims for being held against there will. You just can’t!
And let me just say this, yes – at some point the women did give consent to R. Kelly and agree to be involved with him. But what they’re saying is that they later REVOKED their consent. And did NOT agree to be held captive. That is the issue at hand.
Anyway, after Wendy’s comments blaming the victims, network executives called a meeting asking Wendy to pull back on her on-air support for R. Kelly because they feared that the show could take a major hit from advertisers if she continued to publicly support R. Kelly.
A source told The DailyMail.com that network executives told Wendy “If you lose advertisers over this, it’s going to be a problem. So it’s time to take a different approach to R. Kelly before your talk show is gone and you’re having to go on the road and open up for him.”
Can ya’ll imagine that?
So on a later episode, Wendy switched her stance. This time when discussing the latest lawsuit against R. Kelly for infecting another woman with STDs Wendy said “At this point, what do you say? R. Kelly is apparently guilty of a lot of things. The law just has to catch up to the accusations. You know what I mean? I think more girls will probably come out and tell their stories… I think there will be more.”
Then she added ‘Where are the cops? How long will it take before another young lady comes out and they can ban together and call Gloria Allred or her daughter? R. Kelly, you need to lie on that sword.’
That was the COMPLETE opposite of her initial statements on R. Kelly. And she purposely said that she felt R. Kelly was “guilty of a lot of things” so that she could keep advertisers and ultimately keep her show!
A source told the Daily Mail
Wendy loves her job. She lives to be on TV every day. The last thing she’s going to do is intentionally jeopardize this dream opportunity, not even for R. Kelly.
I don’t blame Wendy for not wanting to lose her job, especially over someone like R. Kelly!
But what do you think? If Wendy really does support R. Kelly personally, should she share that on the show? Or should she continue to refer to him as guilty so that she can keep her show?

Looks like the royal family won’t be spicing up their lives at Meghan Markle and Prince Harry’s wedding on Saturday.
The Spice Girls are not performing at the royal wedding, despite Mel B saying on “The Real” that the Spice Girls would be reuniting and performing.
During a previous episode of “The Real,” Mel B revealed that she and the other members of the Spice Girls were invited to Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s wedding in May. And she let it slip that the Spice Girls would be performing. Let’s take a look at that clip:
So Mel B said clearly in the clip that she had received an invitation. And she described it as being “proper” when Jeannie Mai asked her exactly what it looked like.
But in the clip Mel B also seemed to regret revealing that the Spice Girls were invited almost as soon as she said it. And at the end of the clip you can hear her saying “I’m going to be fired”.
Well Mel B may have been right about being fired, because now it’s being reported that the Spice Girls are NOT performing at the Royal Wedding. And although 3 of the other Spice Girls will be attending, Mel B is NOT invited to the Royal Wedding after all.
Despite Mel B’s claim the group would reunite and perform at the reception, a source tells Page Six, “Only Victoria, Emma and Geri were invited, so clearly, the Spice Girls were never going to perform.”
Mel B is at home in Los Angeles and was never, in fact, invited.
What do you guys think? Do you think Mel B was never invited at all and she was being dishonest on The Real? Or do you think the Royal family snatched back her invitation after she let too much information slip on The Real?

Love then asked, “Will the Spice Girls be performing?”
Mel looked down at her cards and said nothing while the women start screaming.
“I’m going to go. I’m going to be fired,” Mel said.
According to Media Takeout, Loni Love is next on the chopping block over at The Real! Their sources exclusively tell them that the producers of The Real are considering firing Loni Love and replacing her with a White woman.
Now, this sounds like a joke and ordinarily I wouldn’t pay much attention to a story like this. HOWEVER, prior to Tamar being fired from The Real, Media Takeout was one of the only blogs to report the rumors that producers were thinking about firing her.
So being that Media Takeout had the tea on Tamar being fired from The Real before it happened, I think their source over at The Real might just be credible.
Their source says,
They want the panel to be less Black, and they’ve had trouble with Loni in the past. So I think she’s out.
Allegedly, the producers believe that by adding a ‘white’ host to the panel, it could help bring more white viewers to the show.
I don’t know if I believe that the producers of The Real want to add a White co-host, because part of the show’s selling point is that four women of color are able to connect with women of ALL colors, including White women – without actually having a White co-host.
According to MTO, another issue producers have been having with Loni is they feel she comes across as dismissive and disengaged in many of the topics. Behind the scenes, Loni’s been pushing for more political topics and would love for the show to go in a direction similar to The View.
Now, that I can believe because Loni Love does look disengaged on some of the topics and she does act like she doesn’t want to talk about certain things.
But allegedly, producers are upset about that. They actually want to dedicate more topics to celebrity drama since that’s what their viewers respond to best from them.
Just a few hours ago, Loni Love compared The Real to The View on her Instagram. She said:

Still love The View and all the other shows that empower women.. that is why when we accepted The Emmy I made sure to thank the nominated shows.. Whoopi even sent a basket congratulating The Real… if anyone watched The Real this week you saw us discuss Mute R Kelly, Bill Cosby , and the Kanye interview.. The Real has fourth of the budget that The View has but we continue to highlight women with the hot line bling calls and give exposure to things that effect women of color. They can keep talking to politicians but we talk to the people!!!
So I am getting two things from this caption:
- She really does like The View and the serious topics they cover – like politics
- By saying The Real talks to the people – not the politicians – it sounds like she’s trying to cover her behind and act like she really does prefer to talk to “the people” rather than to politicians, since it’s been rumored that she wants to cover more political issues.
Loni Love has said previously that she does want her own late night talk show. Loni Love told the Los Angeles Times last year:
I’m trying to keep tackling hosting. In daytime, women have always traditionally hosted. But in late-night, it’s always been a challenge. I want to tackle a late-night gig. … I helped Chelsea [Handler] with her show… That’s where I’m going next, tackling late-night in the prime-time space.
So Loni Love might get the opportunity to do late night TV sooner than we think, because she just might be getting fired at The Real!
What do you think? Do you think it’s possible that Loni Love might be getting replaced at The Real? Do you think she’ll move on to her own late night talk show? Leave a comment and let me know!
Jeannie Mai shared on Instagram today that she is going through a body transformation. She shared that for 12 years she purposely kept her weight at exactly 103 lbs. She says
Staying 103 came from my self control to lose “chubby” teenage weight and a stressful idea that my body was built to look best “thin”. As I’m nearing my 40s, I realize that I’ve been thru so much shit mentally and emotionally, why the hell should my body be forced to suffer (from my over controlling ways) too?
When I saw this picture and this caption with her talking about her being overlu controlling, I immediately thought maybe the reason she didn’t want to have a baby with her former husband, Freddy Harteis, was because she didn’t want to mess up her body. Her keeping her weight at exactly 103 lbs is a sign to me that she had body image issues.
And I’m thinking maybe that’s why she didn’t want to have a baby. As you ladies know, pregnancy does some crazy things to your body – before and even after the baby is born. So maybe she didn’t want to deal with the pregnancy side effects – like the weight gain.
If she purposely stayed at a very specific weight for 12 years, that shows that her body and her weight is very important to her – and maybe it was even more important than having a child. I know that sounds selfish, but hear me out.
When Jeannie Mai first talked about why she didn’t want to have kids on The Real, she did say that it had to do with her control issues and with her being a selfish person. Take a look:
In the clip she says “I’m admitting that I’m a selfish person. I enjoy time with my husband and time for myself.” At that time it sounds like Jeannie was just beginning to open up and admit that she was selfish. So, to me, it sounds like she told half the story in that conversation on The Real when she admitted she is selfish. And now she is telling us the other half of the story on Instagram, when she admits that she is also overly controlling about her body and her weight. So I think that’s why she didn’t want to have a baby.
But I also wonder if seeing another woman carry her ex-husband’s baby is what made Jeannie decide to stop being overly controlling of her weight and allow herself to gain a few pounds. In her caption she says that her weight gain journey started 3 months ago. And if you keep up with her ex-husband you know that he recently announced that his new girlfriend is 4 months pregnant.
So it sounds like Jeannie might have decided to stop forcing herself to be thin, when she found out another woman was carrying her ex-husband’s baby. In the caption she posted:
So 3 months ago I started a new eating plan and training program and gained 17 lbs. I don’t have a weight goal..just a promise to be as physically Strong as I am mentally Indestructable 🙌🏼 So far I’m 3 months of eating more, (clean protein and saying Yes to carbs!!), lifting heavy weights (best therapy ever!!) and truly loving all of Me. Not sure where I’m headed but I know I’m gonna look the best I’ve ever looked because Im spending quality time on ME.
I think it’s more than a coincidence that Jeannie decided to stop being so overly concerned about her weight when she found out another woman was carrying her ex-husband’s child.
These are mai thoughts! Let me know what you think in the comments! Do you think Jeannie Mai didn’t want to get pregnant because she was selfish and didn’t want to mess up her body? Leave a comment and let me know!
