Porsha Williams confirmed to People magazine in a story that was published today that she is indeed pregnant!! Her and her boyfriend, Dennis McKinley are expecting their first child together!
Some of you may find this a little bit weird, and some of you might not. But last night on the Emmy Red Carpet, Stranger Things actress, Millie Bobby Brown, who is 14, talked about her and Drake’s private text messages where they gush about how much they miss each other.
The Blast reports,
Chris Brown‘s daughter, Royalty Brown, is very aware her father and mother are arguing over money and child support payments, and in one heartbreaking situation Royalty allegedly tried to take matters into her own hands to help her mom.
Former “Basketball Wives” star Gloria Govan was arrested for felony child endangerment after a dangerous fight with her ex-husband, which cops say put their kids at risk.
Janet Hubert is not finished with Will Smith! Just watch as she goes off on Black Media and Will Smith himself.
Thanks to Jessica Kohinoor for capturing and sharing this. This is definitely for discussion and not disparaging. Janet always has a point, even if it’s a jagged one that’s 20 years old.
After watching, what do you think of Ms. Hubert’s comments about the way Will Smith has treated her throughout the years? And what do you think about her commentary on how Will and Jada expose their children’s lives?
The trailer for the upcoming Disney move Wreck It Ralph 2 – Ralph Breaks The Internet just premiered and it features a reunion of every Disney princess you can think of – including a new version of Princess Tiana!
Princess Tiana debuted in 2009 and was the first African-American Disney princess ever! Her dark skin and wide nose were not typical features seen on Disney princesses. But those same features are what resonated with young, Black girls.
But now her dark chocolate skin has been lightened to a caramel hue. And her nose appears much thinner than before. And although she’s been given natural hair, the color has been changed from black to light brown.
Before we get too far into this I just want to say that the outrage that people are expressing at the questionable makeover of Princess Tiana is not necessarily about her being light skin with a thin nose and brown hair. People of color come in all shades with different features and hair colors.
But when a character is presented first one way – with dark skin and a wide nose – and then given a makeover to have lighter skin and and a thinner nose – it makes it seem as if Disney is saying the new version (with light skin and a thin nose) is the better version. And that’s just not right!
Black Twitter has been calling Disney out for the apparent white washing of Tiana. This person tweeted:
In today’s edition of “you tried it,” Disney decided to reinforce colorism by lightening Princess Tiana’s skin in #RalphBreaksTheInternet. Tiana was a dark skin Black woman in Princess and the Frog, now she has light skin and Eurocentric features. What happened to her wide nose? pic.twitter.com/YnX9eFPLm9
— The Cali Nerd (@TheCaliNerd) August 9, 2018
And this person pointed out that just 2 months ago Princess Tiana was still dark skinned. She tweeted:
And this person tweeted:
Y’all don’t understand how important Princess Tiana is to Black girls. We finally had a Disney princess that looked like us, and now, she doesn’t. They gave her Eurocentric features and turned her into a racially ambiguous woman. It’s a no from me, dawg.
— E-Money 🤑 (@imanimlewis) August 10, 2018
And another person wondered if the original Tiana was ‘too hard’ to digitize.
The other Disney princesses were also made to look less ethnic. Mulan was made to look less Chinese and Pocahontas was made with lighter skin and bigger eyes as well.
What do you think of Princess Tiana’s makeover? Does she look significantly different to you? Do you think it’s just the different animation style that makes her look different?

Y’all Nicki Minaj’s mom is really getting out of pocket!
I still can’t believe that her mom is so focused on her brother’s case that she put out that “tell – all” interview despite Nicki’s Queen album being released the same week! And now she’s on Twitter clapping back at blogs like Media Takeout for reporting on it.
I also have two kids, and as a mother I could never imagine being so focused on one of my kids, to the detriment of the other. Especially if one was found guilty of the type of crime that Jelani Maraj was found guilty of.
Anyway, a lot of blogs have been saying that it was rumored that Nicki Minaj’s mother purposefully released the “tell-all” interview around the time of Nicki’s Queen album release to try to sabotage Nicki’s album sales because Nicki no longer supports her brother.
Well now Ms Carol Maraj is clapping back at MTO for saying that she tried to sabotage Nicki’s album release.
Carol Maraj just tweeted:
So do y’all believe it’s just hype that Nicki Minaj’s and her Mom are “fueding” as she put it? Or doing you think they have a real family issue that is spilling over into the media?
Leave a comment and let me know!
The Barbz begged her NOT to do it, but she did it anyway! Carol Maraj went through with her “tell-all” interview with The Hip Hop Hood Report on August 11 despite pleas not to.
I reported to you guys that Carol Maraj is allegedly upset with the fact that Nicki Minaj now accepted that her brother is likely guilty of the charges against him. And she did this interview as a way to sabotage Nicki’s Queen album release. That is why the interview was done just one day after Nicki Minaj successfully released her Queen album.
The interview was conducted by Hip Hop Hood Report host Charles Fisher. And Carol Maraj starts out explaining how a juror that indicated that he would FREE Jelani Maraj was let go, likely because he wasn’t willing to convict Jelani Maraj. And she also mentions the part Wendy Williams played in all this.
She also questions why the jurors weren’t sequestered from outside influences during the trial.
Carol Maraj also explains that the DNA initially was reported as being inconclusive. But the MEDIA reported that it was a match.
The Carol Maraj interview was almost an hour long and very detailed, so if you would like to hear more the link to the video is in the top right corner and will be in the comment section.
I, personally, don’t think this interview is going to sabotage Nicki’s album sales, although it was rumored that it would. Nicki Minaj has a strong machine behind her and I’m sure they’re going to prevent major news outlets from picking up this interview and reporting on it. So I don’t think Nicki’s album sales will be impacted. But I think the relationship between Nicki and her mom will definitely be impacted, especially since her Mom chose to do this interview just one day after Nicki’s album release.
After doing the interview Nicki’s mom tweeted:
And Nicki has yet to public acknowledge her mom.
What do you think of Nicki Minaj’s mother doing this interview? Do you think it will affect her and Nicki’s relationship even more? And do you think Nicki’s album sales will be impacted.

This is a rumor report. Rumor reports come straight from the corners and alleys of the Internet and it’s up to you to let me know if you believe this rumor or not.
But the rumor is….
Nicki Minaj and her mother have been going at it, over her brother’s rape case.
In case you somehow missed it, Jelani Maraj, Nicki Minaj’s brother was convicted of predatory sexual assault after being charged with repeatedly raping an 11-year-old girl at his Long Island home.
Nicki Minaj was extremely shocked at first at the allegations against her brother and didn’t want to believe her brother was guilty, but she eventually accepted that her brother was actually guilty once he was convicted.
DNA evidence recovered from the girl’s pajama pants was linked to Jelani Maraj and that is largely what led to his conviction.
But even though Nicki Minaj has accepted that her brother is guilty, her mother, on the other hand, refuses to accept that he is guilty and continues to proclaim his innocence.
She and Nicki Minaj have been going at it over the past few months and she is now planning to sabotage Nicki’s album release.
Nicki Minaj’s Queen album release date has been delayed several times. It was originally slated for a June 15 release, but has been pushed back to Aug. 17.
Nicki Minaj’s mother, Carol Miraj, is now planning a tell all interview about Jelani Miraj’s case on August 11th, just one week before Nicki’s album release.
Nicki’s mom Carol tweeted:
Watch the Hip-Hop ‘Hood Report with Charles Fisher & the “Fitness Sheriff” as I share the SHOCKING NEWS the COURT DON’T WANT YOU TO KNOW in a TELL ALL INTERVIEW about my son’s TRIAL on (8/8-11pm)(8/11-3pm) Channel 20 Optimum, Channel 37 Verizon. STREAM@http://patv.org/livestream

Nicki Minaj’s mom allegedly resents her daughter because Nicki now believes her brother is guilty. Nicki’s mom, Carol Miraj, has tried to launch a singing career of her own that Nicki does not support. Nicki is reportedly very protective of her mother and would rather support her mother financially rather than have her own mother in the music industry.
So her mother is allegedly planning this “tell all” interview in an effort to sabotage her own daughter, Nicki Minaj, album release because of the fact that Nicki has come to terms with the truth about her brother. And her mother has not. Her mother allegedly still believes in her son’s innocence and is upset (to say the least) that Nicki Minaj has accepted the fact that he was found guilty.
Leave a comment and let me know what you think about this rumor. Do you believe Nicki Minaj’s mother is trying to sabotage Nicki’s album release by doing a tell all interview? Will you be watching the interview?

Cardi B has been opening up about her feelings and her possible post partum depression since having her baby, Kulture Kiari. And I think it’s a good thing she has been so vocal since her speaking out sparks a conversation that a lot of women need to have.
Cardi B posted just the other day:
I know exactly what that feels like. I had my baby last September and sometimes I feel like I’m still going through post partum. And when you mix that with the “mommy guilt” of being a working mom and actually still wanting a career despite being devoted to your kids, it’s a mess!
Anyway, Cardi B re-posted Instagram comedian @jayversace skit to her page to show people what post partum emotions actually feel like. And this is such an accurate depiction of what it feels like after you have a baby and all you do day and night is take care of your baby.
She captioned the video:
This is how postpartum got me 😩😩The emotional struggle . BARDI vs BELCALIS.
Cardi B edited her caption to include the “Bardi vs Belcalis” after she first posted it. And I believe Bardi vs Belcalis means her younger, fun loving self vs. her older, more responsible mother self. Switching from being childless with not a care in the world, to being someone’s mother and accepting all that responsibility is no joke and the post partum feelings make it even harder.
Serena Williams also opened up about post partum emotions, she didn’t call it post partum depression because maybe it’s not a feeling of depression for her. But she said:

Last week was not easy for me. Not only was I accepting some tough personal stuff, but I just was in a funk. Mostly, I felt like I was not a good mom. I read several articles that said postpartum emotions can last up to 3 years if not dealt with. I like communication best. Talking things through with my mom, my sisters, my friends let me know that my feelings are totally normal. It’s totally normal to feel like I’m not doing enough for my baby. We have all been there. I work a lot, I train, and I’m trying to be the best athlete I can be. However, that means although I have been with her every day of her life, I’m not around as much as I would like to be. Most of you moms deal with the same thing. Whether stay-at-home or working, finding that balance with kids is a true art. You are the true heroes. I’m here to say: if you are having a rough day or week–it’s ok–I am, too!!! There’s always tomm!
So if you’re a Mom watching this video, whether you’re a new mom or you’ve been at it for awhile. Let’s just take a page from Cardi B and Serena Williams and be willing to be vocal about our feelings like Cardi. And be willing to give ourselves a break sometimes like Serena.
Leave a comment and let me know what you think about Cardi B opening up about her post partum feelings! Do you think she’ll ever get back to the old Cardi B that she used to be? And do you think her career is still going to be on & popping once she gets back to work?
