Breakdown of Why Messy Mya’s Estate is Suing Beyonce for Sampling His Voice in “Formation”

This video breaks down the┬áTHREE voice samples that Beyonce (allegedly) used on her song “Formation.”


Messy Mya was a amateur comedian and rapper, but the voice samples she used were from some of his popular YouTube video vlogs, not his music.┬áThe voice samples were taken from Messy Mya’s vlogs called “A 27 Piece Huh” and “Booking the Hoes from New Wildin”.
The estate of Messy Mya now wants 20 million for the use of his voice on her hit song.

    I know I’m late in commenting but she should definitely pay him for the use of his voice. It has been tied to this young. When you hear it, you know what’s about to be played and the song was HUGE! It’s only fair to deal out that money.
