Sza Responds To Drake Underage Dating Rumors

Recently Canadian born rapper, Drake, has been under fire for name dropping R&B singer, Sza, in a song and saying he dated her in 2008.

But Sza fans were in shock because in 2008 Sza was only 17 years old!

Drake rapped in his song, “Mr. Right Now”

Yeah, said she wanna fuck to some SZA, wait / ’Cause I used to date SZA back in ’08 / If you cool with it, baby, she can still play

Fans were understandably concerned that Drake had admitted to dating Sza when she was underaged.

But Sza has taken to social media to clear up the rumors. She explained,

So It was actually 2009 lol. ..in this case a year of poetic rap license mattered

lol I think he just innocently rhymed 08 w wait. Anybody who really knows me and was around during this time can confirm.. it’s all love all peace.

I just didn’t want anybody thinking anything underage or creepy was happening . Completely innocent . Lifetimes ago .
