Mya Admits To LYING To The Press About Getting Married
A few days ago the Internet went wild when photos surfaced of R & B singer Mya in a wedding dress on the beach in Seychelles, off the coast of East Africa.
TMZ reported that a source close to Mya revealed to them that she had tied the knot with her new husband. But it turns out that was a lie!
Mya pulled a fast one on the media by pretending to have gotten married. She even posted confirmation of the wedding, and her new last name (Lansky) on Instagram.
Now, Mya has come out with ‘The Truth.” “The Truth” is her latest single which celebrates self love. And in the video Mya marries herself. Check it out:
I had a feeling something fishy was going on when the alleged wedding photos didn’t include a groom OR a wedding ring!

To me, that’s trifling. I appreciate the message of self love, of course, and always. But publicity stunts regarding weddings/marriages, just to engage audiences with your content is annoying.
