Snoop Dogg Age Shames Gayle King In New “Apology” Video
Today, after receiving tons of backlash for the first video he did ranting against Gayle King, Snoop Dogg posted a video explaining that he is a non-violent person and that he never intended to incite violence against Gayle King.
In the video Snoop says that he would never want to see harm “come to a 70 year old woman.”

It sounds to me like Snoop is doing some PR and explaining his point of view more calmly this time, but he’s clearly not apologizing.
And the fact that he exaggerates Gayle King’s age sounds to me like he is being patronizing and is not truly sincere in what he is saying. Specifically mentioning Gayle King’s age was not necessary or appropriate in my opinion.
Yes, Gayle King was wrong for pressing Lisa Leslie about Kobe’s rape case. But the response she’s received far outweighs the mistake she made.

You are absolutely wrong. When others speak ill of our people do we rally and fight? We are so quick to come against our own. People quit trying to destroy one another and decide to live and grow. we need help as a race of people and the focus is on the wrong thing. We need to band together and fight for our community and stop injustice.
It is just stupid what differance is it going to make guess what the MAN is dead. There is nothing you can do about it so why even bring it up,so why waste the time, one would think u have something better to do; but clearly you don’t. As the bible says “He without sin let him or her(if you will) cast the first stone” don’t do to others what you don’t want done to you. I don’t see how a blogger is mentioning the rape case. You should definitely apologize for even mentioning it even if it’s explaining the situation. And I don’t see any wrong in saying anyone’s age. Hell older people do it to younger people so where’s the issue. If I were Vanessa I’d sue for deformation of character behind her late husband. I’m in agreement with Snoop’s mother, because she raise a man with integrity. I’m glad Snoop apologized and he really mean it this time. I have a son about Snoop age and I tell him when he is wrong.. I love Snoop and knew he would come to senses. He did the right thing and I hope Gayle King can accept his apology.
