Wendy Williams HOSPITALIZED! Cancels Return INDEFINITELY

As most of you who watch the Wendy Williams show know, Wendy has been on a break from her show for the last few weeks. The last time she did record her show she showed up to the purple chair with her arm in a sling. And she just didn’t seem to be doing well over all. She was losing track of her words and she seemed to be having some voice issues as well.

For the past week a panel of Hot Topic hosts have been holding the show down in her absence. But to me be honest, although they’re doing their bests, the show is just not the same without Wendy!!

And I, for one, was looking forward to Wendy’s return to the Purple Chair this coming Monday. However, the “Hunter family” emphasis on the Hunter, has released a statement revealing that Wendy will be out indefinitely.

A Note from The Hunter Family As Wendy Williams Hunter previously shared, she fractured her shoulder and has been on the mend. Over the past few days, Wendy has experienced complications regarding her Graves’ Disease that will require treatment. Wendy will be under the strict supervision of her physicians, and as part of her care, there will be significant time spent in the hospital. Despite her strong desire to return, she is taking a necessary, extended break from her show to focus on her personal and physical well-being. Wendy thanks everyone in advance for their well-wishes and for respecting her and The Hunter Family's privacy during this time. We wholeheartedly support Wendy in this decision to take the time she needs and we will welcome her back with open arms the moment she is ready. The Wendy Williams Show will air repeat episodes the week of January 21st and will produce original episodes with a variety of hosts starting the week of January 28th.
