Kiari Cephus, better known as Offset from The Migos, was just arrested right outside Atlanta, Georgia.  His car was pulled over for tinted windows and an improper lane change.  And when cops searched the car they found marijuana and a handgun.  Offset is a convicted felon, so he is not legally allowed to carry a gun.

Offset was hit with 4 charges – possession of a firearm by a felon, possession of marijuana (one ounce or less), possession of a weapon during a crime and an improper lane change.

Cardi B and their daughter, Kulture Kiari Cephus, were not in the car at the time.

As far as Offset’s previous criminal history..

Offset was previously put in jail in April of 2015 on charges of drug and firearm possession.  Police stopped a Migos concert at Georgia Southern University and arrested all three members of the Migos, as well as several members of their entourage.  Offset served 8 months in prison, and during that time Offset got into a prison fight  and was charged with inciting a penal riot.  He was released in December of the same year, after a plea deal.

And, on April 5, 2018, Migos’ tour bus was pulled over on a traffic violation in North Carolina. Officers searched their tour bus and found 420 grams of marijuana, 26 ounces of codeine and Xanax. The group members were not arrested but members of their entourage were.

I wish Offset the best of luck with the charges that were just thrown at him.  And my prayers go out to Cardi B, who I’m sure is so stressed out right now! She’s already dealing with the challenges of being a new mother.  And now she has to deal with her husband being arrested.

Cardi B has not responded to Offset’s arrest on social media.  However, she did post a picture of Baby Jesus.  So it sounds like she’s in prayer right now.
